During the summer of 2010 Dave and Amanda Blok joined CrossWinds Church to be part of their vision to see churches planted in the urban neighborhoods surrounding Grand Rapids. Dave and Amanda both grew up in West Michigan and both desired to be involved in vocational ministry. They were married in May 2009, and began to pray about what they would do upon Dave's graduation from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary the following year. They were lead to become a part of CrossWinds Church and are excited to be a part of what God is doing in this community and pray that God would use them mightily to bring glory to Him. Dave will be the site pastor of the first plant in Godfrey Lee that will be launched in Fall of 2011.
